HD 100 Runoff Election on January 28!

Most of you are aware that this Texas house seat was vacated when Eric Johnson become mayor of Dallas. A special election was held on November 5, but none of the candidates obtained the required 50% of total votes. Therefore, the runoff will occur on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Both candidates in the runoff are Democrats: Lorraine Birabil and James Armstrong III.
The map below is provided to help determine if you're located in HD (House District) 100. If you can't be sure looking at the map, you can go to dallascountyvotes.org, click on Voter Information, then Precinct Lookup by Address; enter your address and then click on 'My Elected Officials' once the Precinct Detail screen appears (you'll have to scroll down a bit to get to Texas House of Representatives).

The winner of this election will serve from January 2020 to January 2021. The March 2020 primary will determine the Democratic challenger for the November 2020 general election; the winner of this election will serve from January 2021 to January 2023.
